Difference between MBR and GPT

After inserting the new SSD and entering disk management, you will be presented with a dialog to choose between MBR and GPT.

Features are as follows.

MBR	GPT
Up to 4 primary partitions can be created Disc capacity up to 2TB is recognized For PC with BIOS installed Available on both Windows 32-bit and 64-bit	Up to 128 primary partitions can be created Disc capacity up to 9.4ZB(!) is recognized Used on PCs with UEFI or EFI installed Windows 32-bit not available

MBR is old.
GPT is new.

The GPT option means that it can be used, so let’s select GPT without question.
